Dana Powell: Junk World: Art Basel Hong Kong

Born in 1989 in Milwaukee, WI, Dana Powell lives and works in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The artist graduated with a BFA from Cooper Union in 2015 and completed a residency at the Still House Group the following year. Powell has been included in several exhibitions throughout the US, most notably Particularities, curated by Chris Sharp, X Museum (Beijing, 2021) and The Lure of the Dark, curated by Susan Cross, Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (North Adams, MA, 2019).  This will be Powell's first presentation of work in Hong Kong.

达娜·鲍威尔1989 年出生于美国威斯康星州密尔沃基市，目前在北卡罗来纳州温斯顿-塞勒姆生活和工作。她于 2015 年在库珀联盟（Cooper Union）获得纯艺术学士学位，并于次年完成了在 Still House Group 的驻留。达娜·鲍威尔曾多次参加在美国及国际上举办的展览，包括由Chris Sharp策划、在X美术馆举办的“Particularities”（北京，2021），以及由Susan Cross策划、马萨诸塞州当代艺术博物馆举办的 "The Lure of the Dark”（马萨诸塞州北亚当斯，2019）。本次是达娜·鲍威尔首次在香港展出作品及呈现个人项目。
